Description

This Portland Stone Gin Tonic Rack has been designed to display and store your favourite Gin and a couple of bottles of Tonic.

Hand picked direct from the Quarry in Portland, Dorset, on the world famous Jurassic Coast.

Cut down to size with diamond tip blades, it’s then ready for core drilling.

I’ve chisled the top edge to try and highlight the rough coast line that spans 96 miles across Dorset.

Next, the stone is core drilled specifically for larger Gin bottles and smaller tonic bottles.

Holes are approximately 90mm diameter for large and 60mm for smaller bottles.

The cores removed from the stone are then re-purposed if suitable.

These will be recycled, cut down to size and used as coasters or candles.

They will be added to the website shortly. I currently have 100s of cores available in stock.

The stone has been completely wet polished using a medium grade. This gives the stone a stunning finish and exposes internal fossils and shells perfectly.

Finally this Portland Stone Gin Tonic rack design has been carved with ‘You’re the Gin to my Tonic’. Painted Gold.

All engraving is bespoke work and as a guide, it carries a turnaround time of approximately 2 weeks.

This can be slightly longer during very busy periods.

Unfortunately the Gin and Tonic is not included and is for scaling purposes only.

If you like this design but would like to alter slightly then please get in touch via the contact form.

Totally unique and the first piece I have completed to this design brief. Please have a look at my other designs here.

You’re welcome to visit the workshop but by appointment only. I carry a large amount of block which you can view and choose.

Please see my Info page for delivery details etc.
